It is with tremendous sadness that we say good-bye to our amazing friend and colleague Doug Witmer of Clif Bar. Doug passed away this past Saturday June 16th. A friend to all, Doug brought so much joy and laughter to all of us at Marsham International and to all who were fortunate to know him. We all have our own special memories of Doug and they all include a big smile and laughter.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the Clif Bar family, Doug’s wife Kathy and his two children, a 6-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter. He was the coach of his son’s little league baseball team and was also highly involved in his daughter’s recreational activities as well. An education trust fund has been set up for his children: in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions to The Witmer Children’s Education Fund, c/o First National Bank of LaGrange, 620 W. Burlington Ave., LaGrange, IL 60525.
Doug, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
